Sound off on Destiny Interrupted by Erica N. Martin & Greg O. Jones

We would like to thank everyone who came out and showed their support at the Destiny Interrupted book release party. The turn out was great and we sold a ton of books. We've already received a lot of phone calls from readers who have purchased the book and already finished it! So we wanted to set up a community board were readers can sound off on what they thought about Destiny Interrupted. Here are some sample questions to get the discussion going.

1. Do you believe in love at first sight? Was that the case with Erin & Oricho?

2. Do you believe that Oricho's experience with his first girlfriend turned him into a stone cold player?

3. Was Oricho a master manipulator or was he really trying to change for Erin?

4. Do you think Erin's trust issues were justified? i.e. late night phone calls from old jump-offs?

5. How did you feel about the ending?

These are just a few questions, but please feel free to comment freely.

Your feedback is appreciated.

Sincerely,

Authors
Erica N. Martin
Greg O. Jones

First I would like to say congrats to the authors,& I loved the book!
It was a great read, being told from the male & female prospective was a great idea. Destiny Interrupted brought out a lot of different emotions for me, I actually cried nearing the end of the book! Loved it and looking forward to the follow up...

Destiny…Interrupted
By Erica N. Martin and Gregory O. Jones

Review Written by Monica Marie Jones

For years men and women have been trying to figure out the inner workings and thoughts of the opposite sex to no avail. Every now and then a skilled author is able to capture the true essence of the opposite sex in one of their characters but rarely do we get both points of view, each written by the respective gender, in one book.

This unique style of writing makes the novel; Destiny…Interrupted a treat because we are privileged to follow the course of an intense whirlwind relationship as told from the man and woman involved.

Each chapter draws you in with the story as told by Erin A. Lynch, a stunning and successful author who dynamically manages to raise her two sons while writing and running a thriving publishing company. Immediately following Erin’s standpoint we get to see their world through the eyes of Orico, a flourishing real estate investor who turns all heads upon entrance in any room.

An instantaneous love connection draws the two together despite the fact that neither were looking for anything so intense. Traumatic events of the past, trust issues and present drama that transpires as a result of those things threaten to end this extreme romance. But traumatic twists and turns may be just the thing that is needed to bring them back together.

In this novel author Erica N. Martin has taken her literary style and creativity to the next level. Debut author Gregory O. Jones proves to be a force to be reckoned with as he brings each scene to life with vivid and detailed descriptions that will affect you emotionally, physically and spiritually. This brilliant writing duo left us with a gut wrenching ending that most certainly lends itself to a sequel to the page turner, Destiny…Interrupted.

I loved the book. I was especially fascinated by the two different views of the relationship. Erin was completely oblivious to all the chaos in Oricho's life. That is often the reality in real relationships. I think he should have been more open with her and the other women. But in the end true love prevailed. I look forward to reading the sequel and other works from both authors. P.S. I have a strong feeling this story is written from true experience. Are you two together?
